The Journey Rose Foundation was created to honor our daughter, who passed away from a rare childhood cancer at the age of 10. The foundation’s mission is to raise funds to assist families deep in the trenches of fighting cancer with their child. Having been there, we know every gift card, gas card, stuffed animal, blanket, art project, craft, sibling gift, and financial donation helps to ease the burden of this battle and brings some relief and joy amid the excruciatingly difficult journey that is childhood cancer. Our goal is to bring a “Spark of Hope” to these incredible warriors and honor our own courageous Journey Rose in the process.

Sparks of Hope is our main fundraising event which takes place on the second Saturday in July. Journey loved fireworks, food and playing outside so we’re combining some of her favorite things to throw a fundraising party she would be proud of: a carnival-like party with yummy food, music, games and a custom firework show created by her father, David, to end the night.
